February	Extended Weekend Thursday 25 February to Sunday 28 February	TR REGISTER NZ Inc National Weekend 2010. At Waitomo in the Waikato. This will be another special extended weekend and will be based at the popular Waitomo Caves scenic resort. A North Island Tour around the Waikato-Coromandel-Rotorua area has been organised for Monday 1 March - Friday 5 March to follow on from the National Weekend. 	Sunday 21 March 10:30	Auckland: Meet at the Sunken Garden at Cornwall Park at 10.30am for an 11.00am start. A tour organised by Jan & Marian Hendrix with an element of mystery, except the destination is no mystery. Come and celebrate the Grand Opening of Jan & Marian’s new garage and an opportunity to see the contents on display. This is a not to be missed event, mark it in your diary today. 	Sunday 18 April 11:30 am	Auckland: Autumn Picnic at beautiful Kerr Farm Winery in Kumeu. Wine tasting is available ($10 per head), however food is not, so bring a picnic lunch. This is an idyllic spot with the grapes ready for harvest and will offer good photo opportunities – Vines & TRs. Meet at the winery at 11.30am 48 Dysart Lane, Kumeu. 	Friday 25 June 19:30 pm	Auckland: Mid Winter Christmas Dinner: Come and join us for our annual Mid Winter Christmas Dinner. 	Saturday 20 August From 09:30	Auckland: A visit to Franklin Engineering: The Auckland Triumph Car Club has invited TRR members to join them on a visit to Franklin Engineering. Meet at the BP Service Centre on the Southern Motorway just south of Papakura at 9.30am to drive in convoy to Pukekohe to Franklin Engineering Ltd, (incorporating the former Johnson’s Piston Rings) The company carries out varied repairs, machining and rebuilds of engines for historical and classic cars as well as most other types of engines. 	Sunday 21 August From 09:00	Auckland: A Shed Discovery: The Sunbeam Car Club are about to discover a couple of interesting sheds in South Auckland. Meet once again at the BP Service Centre on the Southern Motorway at 9.00am. The first shed visit in the morning will be to view a collection of American cars then we will lunch back at the BP Service Centre until 2.00pm before visiting another shed filled with a collection of European and British cars. The usual fixtures on the annual TR Register calendar are as below. Refer to the calendar above for details of current events :
Monthly:
Club Nights (Auckland) (1^st Tuesday of Month)	An informal monthly gathering currently held in the downstairs Bar & Restaurant at the "Horse & Trap" 3 Enfield St, Mt Eden. Staring at 7:30pm or from 6:30pm-7:00pm onwards if you want a meal.. Sometime replaced by Technical Nights - see below. May not be held in January - check calendar above.
Club (or Interclub) events (Auckland)	The Auckland Group also aims to arrange an event on the 3rd Sunday of each month when possible . Watch the calendar above for details.
Technical Nights	A technical presentation or discussion on a wide range of interesting items. These are usually held on 1st Tuesday of the month in lieu of the normal Club Night. Watch the calendar above and TRansmission magazine for details. Past evenings have covered gearboxes, auto-upholstery, overdrives, fuel injection, wheel alignment and several other topics.

Periodically:	Picnic runs, Go-kart evenings, Grasskhanas and several other events for everyone to get together for loads of fun are held during the year. Watch the calendar above and TRansmission magazine for details.

Annually:
Sailing Day (Early February)	This is an Auckland based event and an opportunity for members to get together in a non-car environment. A number of members have yachts and welcome the opportunity to share their sailing pleasures around the Auckland harbour
TR National Weekend (Date varies)	This is the main event of the year that brings members throughout the country together to celebrate the TR marque. Usually held January, February or March
Classics in the Park - Hill Climb (1st Sunday in May)	A high profile event in the Auckland Motor-sport calendar. The emphasis is on classic cars throughout the history of New Zealand motor-sport and provides rare free public viewing in the beautiful surroundings of the Auckland Domain
Mid Winter Dinner (Late June)	An opportunity to enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner at a time of year more suited to the fare than the New Zealand calendar Christmas.
Isadora Duncan Scavenge Rally (Usually around September)	A gimmick trial organised as a tribute to the fun loving dancer Isadora Duncan who lost her life when her long scarf tangled in the wheel of her sports car.
Annual General Meeting (End of October)
Breakfast Run (Mid December)	A combined event with Thoroughbred and Classic Car Owners Club which takes members in convoy to a location an hours drive north of Auckland to enjoy a pre-Christmas social event with like-minded car enthusiasts.

These events are interspersed with Technical evenings, a bi-annual bent sprint, video nights, a monthly club night in Auckland, various regional and Inter-marque events - trials, go-karts, circuit races, hill climbs, motorkhanas and Concours d'elegance.
