TR Register (New Zealand) Inc

History

The TR Register New Zealand has been firmly established since 1976. Becoming an Incorporated Society in 1985 brought an affiliation with the governing body of motorsport in New Zealand, MotorSport New Zealand, then known as MANZ (Motorsport Association of New Zealand).

Links are maintained with TR Register UK, and through that body, other TR Registers and clubs throughout the world

 

Objectives

The objectives of the TR Register New Zealand (Inc) are:

a) The preservation and promotion of the Triumph TR marque by provision of relevant services, activities and investments.

b) The fostering of amateur motoring and sporting events, social functions and outings through the fellowship of like-minded enthusiasts.

c) Affiliation to MotorSport New Zealand and acceptance of its rules and conditions.

National Weekends & TRophies

At each annual National Weekend a number of Trophies are presented for Concours d'elegance and other competitive events.

Membership

The TR Register maintains a stable membership of around 200 enthusiasts throughout New Zealand. Membership is open to all owners of Triumph TR marque cars. To join refer to Membership - How to join

Total of known cars of the TR marque in New Zealand is around 500 of which club members own approximately 50%.
