The Auckland Organising Group has been brainstorming all sorts of fantastic ideas for event locations and dinners for the National Weekend to be held in Auckland and is asking for expressions of interest from those keen to attend this event.

Firstly, the confirmed dates are as follows

Friday 28th February - Monday 3rd March 2025

The format for the weekend is slightly different from previous National Weekends. We will be attending the Brit & Euro Classic Car Show held on Sunday hence the reason for moving the weekend by one day. We also want to incorporate celebrating 50 Years of the TR Register which was formed in Auckland in 1975 at the dinner on Saturday night.  

To give you some idea of what we are planning.

Friday: Welcome / Registration 

Saturday: Drive / Gala Celebration dinner confirmed at the iconic RNZYS

Sunday: Attend the Brit & Euro car show for the biggest display of TRs held in NZ ever. This show is also the biggest classic car show in NZ. Concours to be run here also

Sunday: Dinner / Awards, this will be a more casual evening held at The Remuera Club

Monday: Forum, lunch then After Tour will start

Accommodation in the first instance has been reserved at The Parnell Hotel. Please see attached for pricing and booking details. 

Auckland members, could you let us know if you will be staying in the hotel over the weekend? This is to ensure enough hotel accommodation has been reserved for out-of-town members.

This is going to be a fantastic weekend to be a part of. 

Because of the numbers that we anticipate attending and the venues that we would be potentially using numbers, are limited.
