The current owner purchased the vehicle in South Africa in December 1996, in a sorry state and restored it to an excellent condition over the next four years.  It was a family project involving a brother (an experienced mechanic and restorer of classic Triumphs) and husband & wife team.

 I have 4 steel wheels and associated hubs.

Lovely condition: 25000 miles; appears genuine (NZTA accept it is). Massive documentation on its history. Perfect oil pressure. Overdrive.

Imported from UK in 2008.

Chassis replaced in 1988 (apparently galvanised). 

Beautifully rebuilt at some point with classic old-school enamel paint.

Engine has larger valves and appears to have a mild cam upgrade. Stainless steel exhaust.

I have 2 windscreen frames for TR4-6, each has some rust in the bottom corners.

Happy for them to go to a club member at no cost apart from any postage, alternatively a pick up or can be dropped off around some parts of Auckland.

For those who are perplexed, these are the alloy gutters fitted to the sides of the hardtop to direct rainwater away from the side screens and/or the pilot and passenger!  Part numbers 802611 (LH) and 802612 (RH).
